The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75607 has the smaller holes between the receiver tube end and the hitch pin hole. The smaller hole is no longer used. I spoke with my contact at Blue Ox about the Immobilizer III # BX88312 and Immobilizer II # BX88224 anti-rattle devices. She confirmed that the U-bolts used with the Immobilizers are grade 5 steel, but they are not stainless steel.

I would always recommend storing a ball mount of any type and in any geographic location because I personally hate bumping by shins or knees on them! I have also seen some get corroded and stuck in the hitch receiver so that is another reason to take it out when not in use.
